Our client is a fast-scaling Nordic e-commerce company with a platform serving millions of users across five countries. Following rapid growth, they are rebuilding their cloud infrastructure to handle scale, reduce costs, and accelerate deployment frequency. This is a high-ownership role with direct access to senior engineering leadership. Shortlisted candidates will receive the full details.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
*Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
*Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes
*Establish platform engineering practices — container orchestration, IaC, and observability
*Advise on cloud migration strategies and modernisation roadmaps
*Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps culture and practices across the organisation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
*6+ years in cloud engineering or architecture, ideally with consulting experience
*Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider — certification preferred
*Strong command of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK)
*Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern observability tooling
*Clear communicator who can explain architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders
